October 11, 2019: NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY EVENT

image26

Come join us at the Bennington Museum to celebrate National Coming Out

Day!

We will be offering the first public viewing of a documentary film of Bennington’s First Pride Weekend that was produced by CAT TV and Queer Connect.

We will also host a Coming Out Story Slam during which attendees are invited to tell their own coming out stories.

On exhibit will be a memorial video of drag performances by the late Chardonnay LeTease.

Additionally, we will be displaying a variety of Bennington Pride memorabilia submitted by community members. Some of the exhibit will be included in the newly formed LGBTQ Archives that will be housed at the museum.

The event is free, and we welcome people of all identities and ages!
